YouTube API Services

Raeplay uses YouTube API Services and the official YouTube embedded player to help you search for and play videos. By using those features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Information we handle

Raeplay does not ask for or store your YouTube password. Unless a feature clearly asks you to connect a Google account, Raeplay only uses public YouTube API data.

How information is used and shared

We use information to operate search and playback, remember your choices, secure the service, troubleshoot errors, and improve Raeplay. Requests involving YouTube features are sent to Google/YouTube. Information may also be processed by service providers that host Raeplay or its database. We do not sell YouTube API data.

Storage, refresh, and deletion

Public YouTube API metadata may be cached to improve reliability and conserve API quota. Raeplay refreshes or deletes that cached data no later than 30 days after retrieval. Queue and saved-item records may remain until you remove them or request account deletion; they contain references to videos, not downloaded copies of YouTube audiovisual content.

If Raeplay later offers Google authorization, you can revoke access from Google security settings. You may request access, correction, or deletion of Raeplay-held personal data by emailing privacy@raeplay.com.

Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Material policy changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
